Zero Grid was founded by Landon and Narelle to help fellow adventurers embrace off-grid living, drawing from their own experience travelling around Australia with their daughters in their bus, Sonny. Despite their passion and strong product offering, the business was under pressure from cash flow problems, supplier delays, and the constant strain of day-to-day operations. The stress was affecting not only the business, but also their family life, with Landon becoming increasingly consumed by work.
After partnering with Insiteful and joining eCommerce Circle, Zero Grid focused first on stabilising the business. They improved pricing and margins, strengthened supplier relationships, and streamlined inventory management to reduce delays and improve reliability. From there, they built a stronger growth strategy, clarified their market positioning, revamped the website, and introduced more effective marketing through Google Ads, SEO, and email campaigns. They also put systems and automations in place to reduce pressure and make the business easier to run.
The result was a stronger, more stable company that grew into one of Australia’s leading sellers of brands like Renogy, Victron, Trina, and Jinko. Revenue increased, supplier problems were resolved, and the business gained the momentum and credibility it needed to expand. Just as important, Landon and Narelle were able to reclaim time with their daughters and create a life where business growth no longer came at the expense of family.
