Big kid energy. Clever grown-up thinking.

The missing hat. The lunch box that won’t fit. The backpack that has mysteriously swallowed a school note. Spixal knows the school-morning shuffle, and brings a big splash of colour to it.

This Australian brand makes lunch boxes, lunch bags, backpacks, drink bottles and accessories for kids with places to be. Think bold prints, mix-and-match favourites and everyday gear with plenty of personality. The Spixal Shopify storefront carries that same energy from the first hello to the next school-day essential.

Meet the mums behind the magic.

Spixal was founded by sisters Deanna Spicer and Maggie Murray, both designers and mums of two. Their family spent more than 35 years in the school-bag business, so they knew the category long before they were packing lunches themselves.

Then came the school lists, the morning rush and the hunt for gear they actually wanted for their own children. They put their design backgrounds to work on a range of coordinating school-day essentials. It is a brand born from real family life, with a healthy appreciation for a great print.

Colour turned all the way up.

Hot pink, purple, blue and bright lime give Spixal an unmistakable presence. Playful type, lively product imagery and a scrapbook-style homepage make the range feel full of possibility. There is room for the kids to spot a favourite and for parents to see how the pieces fit into their day.

The personality runs through the words, too. School-morning questions, friendly prompts and the founders’ story keep the experience warm and human. It feels like a brand that understands who is doing the packing.

A little less “where do I start?”

Underneath the colour, the shopping journey has a practical job to do. Customers can head straight to lunch boxes, lunch bags, backpacks or bottles, explore best sellers, or start with an age group. From daycare to high school, those starting points give families a useful way into the range.

Bundles bring related pieces together, while individual collections let customers build their own combination. Colour choices and product imagery help with the fun part. Dimensions, compatibility information and care guidance help with the “will this work for us?” part.

Small details. Big school-day relevance.

The storefront makes space for the questions parents bring with them: what a product is made from, how to look after it, what fits together and where to find delivery and returns information. Product reviews sit alongside the range, and the founders’ story adds a familiar face behind the products.

The Lunch Club continues the conversation with lunchbox inspiration and updates from the brand. It is a natural extension of Spixal’s world: useful ideas for the grown-ups, colourful possibilities for the kids, and another reason to come back.
